POSITION SUMMARY
To maintain nursing unit communications and assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring on the unit by performing clerical and other duties as assigned. To provide logistics services to support the Medical and Nursing staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- CNA preferred. If not certified as nursing assistant, high school graduate or GED preferred.
- Current CPR Certification required
- Previous clerical experience preferred
- Computer training/typing experience preferred
Duties require considerable standing, stooping bending, lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.) and pushing objects. Ability to work in a confined high stress environment. Ability to work in a confined high stress environment. Able to organize work duties and set priorities. Indoors, subject to irregular schedules, subject to high levels of stress.
