POSITION SUMMARY
The Information Security Lead within the Information Security and Technology department assists with ensuring a secure and effective environment that aligns with business objectives and protects the organization from emerging threats. This role involves guiding a team of network security analysts, proactively addressing security risks, and staying informed about relevant technologies and compliance standards. The Information Security Lead will help ensure regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, and develop security policies and procedures. Additionally, this role involves assisting with incident response efforts, providing guidance on security best practices, and collaborating with other departments to enhance overall security posture.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or other related degree required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Information Security and/or IT Infrastructure, with demonstrated experience in security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and network administration and design.

Business setting, indoors with the possibility of irregular hours and/or call back, moderate to heavy stress on a continued basis. Duties require: Required to work a flexible schedule to accommodate on-call and other responsibilities, including accessing systems from out of campus to analyze/resolve system problems/halts. Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays during conversions of software/operating systems, installation of enhancements/hardware, or meeting deadlines on programming needs. Position requires a full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination. The position requires corrected vision to an acceptable range. Considerable sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and lifting (above 50 pounds). Extreme mental effort is required, with the ability to assess and make decisions in abbreviated time frames.
