POSITION SUMMARY 

The Enterprise Analyst/Principal Trainer will assist in the development, support and functionality of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and supporting IT systems. The Enterprise Analyst/Principal Trainer will assist in optimizing workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet SGMC’s needs. The Enterprise Analyst/Principal Trainer will learn the EHR system’s capabilities and functional use and apply their knowledge of Patient Care and business workflows to assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of a system that meets process needs. The Enterprise Analyst/Principal Trainer will review quality of work to identify opportunities to train and re-evaluate effectiveness of training in Access & Revenue areas. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 

  • Epic certification or proficiency required within 3 months. 
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting Revenue/Access applications preferred. 
  • Two (2) years of experience in a training/education role preferred. 
  • Revenue/Access or related training experience required. 
  • Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
  • Able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service. 
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION 

Business setting, indoors with possibility of irregular hours and/or call back, moderate to heavy stress on a continued basis. Required to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate on-call and other responsibility including accessing system from out-of-campus to analyze/resolve system problem/halts. Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays on occasions during conversion of software/operating system, or installation of enhancements/hardware, or to meet deadlines. Require full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination. Requires standing, walking, and sitting for periods of time. Requires corrected vision to acceptable range. Requires lifting, approximately 50 pounds, transporting and installing computer equipment. Must have valid driver’s license. Possible exposure to blood and body fluids, including infectious diseases.
